PfPC hosts DEEP Faculty Development Best Practices Workshop

Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, 10 March 2021 - The Partnership for Peace Consortium (PfPC) hosted an online workshop designed to enhance the ability of its Education Development Working Group (EDWG) Defense Education Enhancement Program (DEEP) community providers to be able to conduct support activities for partner countries through the employment of virtual platforms.

There were 36 participants, including DEEP academic leads, programs managers, and several academic experts. Presentations addressed DEEP program experiences during the last year with curriculum and faculty development support, and the technology required to make virtual approaches for support to work. The workshop provided the opportunity for DEEP community providers to identify best practices and lessons learned that could be applied to improve the conduct of future virtual support activities.
