The Role of Strategic Communications in the Security Sector. NATO and Russia in the South Caucasus. SUMMER 2017

The Summer 2017 issue of Connections presents original research in the role of strategic communication, or StratCom, in shaping the image of a security sector organization with examples from the experience of the US and Ukraine, lessons learned from the decades long conflict in Western Sahara, and the interplay of NATO and Russia's interests in the South Caucasus. The next contribution addresses the challenges in enforcing compliance to arms control arrangements in the framework of OSCE. The final article examines the modalities of the British position vis-a-vis EU's Common Security and Defense Policy.
