The Summer 2014 Connections focuses on military operations and looks into lessons learned from conflicts in Kosovo and Libya; also, it provides a comprehensive view on the language integrated learning in Polish higher educational institutions. Another article looks at Kosovo model as a precedent for conflict management in the South Caucasus. The final article reviews the reform of police institutions.
