Vienna, Austria — The Partnership for Peace Consortium’s Regional Stability in the South Caucasus Study Group (RSSC SG) has released its latest publication, "Connectivity Risks and Opportunities in the South Caucasus," outlining the critical role of infrastructural and human connectivity in shaping the region’s stability.

The report, which compiles papers and policy recommendations from the group’s 28th workshop held in Reichenau an der Rax, Austria, explores how "changing influences over infrastructural and human connectivity in the South Caucasus" could transform the region "from a contested periphery into a cohesive and influential regional bloc." The study underscores that despite ongoing geopolitical tensions, "effective regional cooperation and infrastructure development would be essential for realizing the region’s economic and strategic potential."

The publication also reflects on the broader implications of global power shifts while offering recommendations to address "the risks of South Caucasus’ disconnection, starting from the grassroots."
